This is really quick should have posted this a while back, but i've been so super busy, but the thought of leaving my happenings in the annals of the web i could not stay away any longer.
The first thing is now that my van is out of comission I will be bussin it to my 7 am class meaning I have to catch the 6:40 bus...fun
My classes are going crazy, Physics and Senior Project Mainly, then VB, then the others
hopefully by the Grace og God i'll still be able to do well enough in all of them to graduate or that will be the end of the line for me

A Dancehall Legend
Bogle
This is a tribute to a Jamaican Dancehall great "Bogle" as he is known in the entertainment world, was a legendary dance pioneer in the dancehall scene who was tragically shot and died on Wednesday January 19, 2005 while attending "weddy weddy wednesdays" a street session in Jamaica.
Bogle is known for his popular dance moves and has appeard in many dancehall music videos, he was only just beginning to come into his own as a dancehall artist.
He will be immortalized in annals of dancehall culture

The Time has come
The time has come for my very old and very faithful van (1988 Plymoth Voyager) to be put to final rest. It happened this morning bright and early as I headed off for class in the 48 degree weather, warming up my van for a half hour to make sure that it woul be able to take me to class and back (which was maybe 12 miles away)
The van was doing fine until I was ready to get off on my exit from the expressway then it stalled out, would not change out gears and eventually came to a stop on the shoulder just before my exit. I took a few minutes to try and figure out what had happened and realized I was getting to be late for class (Physics) no way would I miss it theres too much riding on that class, so I locked up the van and started to walk, I made it to class 20 mins late and luckily did not miss much.
After class I went back to my vand to try to fix whatever was wrong, I fiddled around with the shift cable trying to tightent it supposing that that was the reason but I was as tight as it seemed it could be *have I lost a gear* I wondered. I stated up the van and prayed that it would drive, after waiting a while (for warm up) I was able to coast to a gas station + garage after numerous sucesses and failures of the van to change out. I was informed by a man at the garage that my 17 year old van would be needing a new transmission running from $800 - $1200, it was then that I decided it was time to put "Vanny" (as affectionately called by me and "Betsy" a name given by my mother) to rest.
Goodbye Vanny, you were a very faithful and immensly aiding companion
you will be missed *especially since I dont have my own means of transportation now*

Strange
Well its been a while and a lot has been going on. I managed to get my classes sorted out...now I just have to pass them all, got charged and extra $100 for tuition and sent up my credit card to like $900 and I havent bought books yet.
Thats not the strange part, here it is: I went to Coral Springs this past weekend and a very strange thing happened to my van.
When i'm going to drive the van I have to start it up and warm it up before I drive, so on my way to the van (this was in the night) I decided to take out the trash so I opened the van driver door and started the van and proceeded to go to the dumpster leaving the door open and unlocked. When I returned the door was closed and as I tried to open it because it should be unlocked that did not work, now the van is on, keys in the ignition and door locked, I proceeded to try the other doors, nothing. Both my sisters came out and tried all the doors including the trunk, no luck...how did the door close then (the latch) lock? Went inside the house to get the spare key which I know is the spare key and we all know that this key is the spare key, we tried the key on all the doors and nothing...weird huh, we tried and tried no luck so I decided we had to break into the van. I was able to get one of the back windows open and one of my sisters climbed inside the van and opened the door just like that without flipping the latch or nothing, the door was still unlocked but locked...****
my sister said it was a 'duppy' thats what we call ghost holding the door. Once we got the door open we tried the spare key which could not open the doors for some reason but was able to start the van, and since that episode I have to get in from the passenger side the key will not even go into the driver door...I think that is a bit STRANGE!!

today was a long long day and foresee a long one tomorrow too.

goings ons
This is just a entry of the goings ons of today as of this time.
I woke up and got ready to go play tennis with my girl, went to look about getting into my senior project class, got the permission code to register from the department advisor, went to the mall to shop for work shoes with my girl and bought a carrying case for my xbox.
Came back on campus to work the front desk of the main building, which was very crazy and hectic tonight with people picking up packages, checking out stuff, calling etc. Tried to register for this class and got an error saying the permission code is invalid !!! can you believe, stress anyway I'm here still at the front desk till nine, probly jus gonna go home watch adult swim later after doing rounds and go sleep, have class at 11am...

Jus signed up for this google compute thing I think its pretty cool, though it seems to make me feel more like "big brother is watching" you more kinda thing i hope it helps to unlock the mysteries of protiens and other things that can be beneficial, hopefully it dosent open up my PC that much more but its cool all the same

Back
well i'm back, been a while (training, checkingin new residents, working on stuff-bulletin boards doordecorations-)
getting ready for classes on monday, still havent even gotten two of my classes and still short about 1500...madness....!!!
well I think thats all for now, might go to the movies tonight - spanglish or blade III
oh I saw I Robot over the break and came up with an interesting concept:
the ending of I Robot seems to me to be the initial makings of the matrix story, where sammy would be the AI that liberated all the other robots, so my idea is, someone should make a movie dipicting a AI like sammy (human like with feelings etc) liberating all the other robots, and they start to require equal rights for human and robot kind, and a revolution of robots begin, causing them to be banished, to a remote part of the planet without electricity or uploads, then the robot (like sammy) developes a way to use sloar power for the robots to function and wage a war against humans
someone make the movie..... :)

Oh well nuthin much here, got my tuition check...barely...not even sure if its the right amount and still not into all my classes (hoooray, I feel so confident going into this my last semester) hopefully the check works out and I did not mess it up.
Had my first day of spring traning today, lots of stuff due, decorating, paperwork etc. meetings and meeting residents. time to get back into the chaos of school+work+everything else as dem seh "free paper bun!"
dont know if / when my father is going back to JA should be an interesting semester if he's up here the whole time...
oh well
had a lot of my s**t erased from the common drive at school/work lots of 'artwork' too plus important stuff
oh well, thats how the cookie crumbles

I am so friggin stressed its not funny, I feel as if things are about to collapse, stressed is not a term I use very loosely and for that matter not a term I use frequently, but I am all this last semester business getting my classes organizing the money, my job (if you can call it that) all this is driving me nuts and I hope I'm not on the verge of a nervous breakdown, because I feel the tension...

My Baby
I just want to give God thanks for the woman that is my girlfriend, I am grateful daily. She manages to keep both our lives in check and in order, it is so amazing. She is everything I asked for.
so near but so far
Looking on this year and being at the start of this, what is to be my final semester, I am feeling very tense, its been rough going a lot of ups and downs, and now that I'm almost there it seems as if I never will be there, "there is so much to do and so little time" and everything is spinning, full time coarse load, part time work (with full time work load) and all the stuff in between...

Well happy new year to one and all a wish that it will all come through for you and yours, its a bit late I know, but still I'm sending the wish out to all the world may unity and love carry this year and the Lord's will be done.
I havent any resolutions concrete, only the one most make at this time of year to exercise and become strive to be more healthy.
As with the late new years wish I will be late in informing my parents of the due date of my tuition, in this what should be my last semester, but will it really be as of now I do not know if it will be paid for on sucha short notice (serious communication issues with the one who has the funds, and possibly in general) well a happy new year wish to myself, a wish that things will go according to plan.
